Indian River Sheriff Identifies 'Solid Suspect' In Cold Case Murder

Detectives with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office say they have identified a "solid suspect" in a cold case. Stephanie Jackson was murdered back on September 9, 1999. Her daughter found the body.

25-years later and still no arrests have been made.

A message from the Sheriff's Office states that they would like to "remind him that technology has come a long way."

Jackson is remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and a pillar of her community.

Detectives want to hear from anyone with information through Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
