A new CNN poll shows that former President Donald Trump is beating President Joe Biden in the 2024 rematch of the 2020 presidential election.

The poll shows that Trump enjoys a 49-43% lead against Biden among registered voters.

When participants were asked if they thought Trump's presidency was a success, 55% said yes, while 44% said they viewed his four years in office as a failure.

Voters did not have a favorable view of Biden's time in office, with 61% saying his presidency has been a failure and just 39% saying they viewed it as a success.

Fourteen percent of voters viewed Trump's and Biden's presidencies as failures, and just 8% viewed them as successes.

Voters also showed disdain for both candidates, as 58% said they held an unfavorable view of Biden, 55% said the same about Trump, and 17% said they disliked both candidates.

The race is still incredibly tight, with just over six months until the election. A poll published earlier this month showed that Biden is clinging to a slight edge over Trump.
