Get ready for a national emergency alert test that will send out a warning across the U.S. tomorrow.

According to FEMA, every TV, radio and cellphone will be interrupted with an emergency message at 2:20 p.m. Eastern Wednesday.

The test is scheduled to last approximately one-minute similar to an Amber Alert or warnings issued by the National Weather Service.

Federal emergency management coordinators need to make sure the system is still in working order in case they need to warn Americans about an emergency.
