The sand is set for this year's edition of the Fort Lauderdale Air Show with a stages said to be a mile high and two miles wide.
Show spokesperson Chris Dirato says, while "the aerobatic box actually extends from Northeast 19th Court to Las Olas Boulevard on A1A," you'll be able to see the military fighter jets, helicopters and civilian performers for miles beyond that, giving tens of thousand of people chances to see the spectacular from balconies and beyond.

As with every show, this year's event, celebrates our military might. It's headlined by the Navy Blue Angels, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and performing in new more powerful, larger and louder Super Hornets.
Dirato adds you'll also see the F-16 Viper Demo Team, "As we like to call them, they're the sports car of military fighter jets."
The Skytypers will perform in World War II vintage jets.
"They do formation flying, and you get to see some of the maneuvers that took place way back when protecting our freedom."
The aerial spectacular, back in its usual May time slot, is set to begin Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. with the final flyby at about 3:00 p.m.

Parking is limited, so police recommend coming early or take a ride share.
Those heading to the sand will have to abide by safe and separate COVID-19 initiatives.
The 2020 show was delayed until November due to COVID.
