Businesses in South Beach will soon be forced to turn down the volume.
The city commission on Wednesday morning unanimously passed a measure that will make all businesses along Ocean Drive lower their music.
The only stretch of Ocean Drive excluded from the new ordinance includes the area between 9th to 11th Streets.
Supporters argued the area can't become the next Bourbon Street.
