A North Carolina city says it has around 150 people waiting to be rescued from rising flood waters caused by Hurricane Florence.
The city of New Bern, North Carolina, said Friday that two out-of-state Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) teams were working on swift-water rescues and more teams were on the way.
City officials say that 200 people have already been rescued.
On Friday morning, Hurricane Florence made landfall near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, as a Cat. 1 with 90 mph maximum sustained winds.
