The brother of famed Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda died Thursday night when his car turned into the path of a Boca Raton police SUV.
According to police, Joseph Lasorda was driving north on Military Trail near Potomac Road around 8:30 p.m. when he turned left in front of a car driven by Boca Raton officer Doug Immler.
The 83-year-old Lasorda was taken to Delray Medical Center, where he later died a short time later.
