MIA Worker Stole Passenger's Credit Cards, Spent $3,000+

Authorities say a Miami International Airport worker is facing fraud charges after allegedly stealing a passenger's bag while she was cleaning a plane and using his credit cards.

Yeneis Ramon-Dominguez, 28, of Miami, was arrested Monday.

According to authorities, the MIA worker used a man's credit cards to make purchases at Taco Bell, Publix, Home Depot, Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx and Marshalls totaling up to $3,311.50.

Officials said the victim left his crossbody bag last month on an American Airlines flight. Dominguez allegedly stole the bag while she was cleaning the plane.

Days later, detectives contacted the victim, who was disputing the fraudulent charges with his credit card companies.

Dominguez initially faced 20 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card of $100 or more, according to the arrest report. She was released to a first-time offender program on a prior grand theft conviction from 2015.

She appeared in bond court Tuesday, where the judge reduced her criminal charges to one and her bond to $10,000.
