A decision has been made on where the Stoneman Douglas Victims' Funds will go.  All of the $10.5 million in charitable donations will go toward those directly impacted by the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting that killed 17 on Valentine's Day.

The Broward Education Fund and members of the steering committee were responsible for setting up the distribution policy for funds collected.  Jeff Dion, Director of the National Compassion Fund, says they had four different categories of eligible beneficiaries.

"The families of those who were killed, the people who were injured by gunshot wound, the people who were present in the 1200 building and the final category, people who suffered psychological trauma who were present on campus, but not in the 1200 building," said Dion.

Out of the 1,654 submitted applications 1,517 of them were validated.  Details of the distribution plan will be made public once the families are notified.

The victims' fund was set up after the shooting by businesses and foundations.
