The FBI is searching a Tallahassee home belonging to the mother of a white supremacist after that person claimed ties between alleged school shooter Nikolas Cruz and his paramilitary group.
Police investigated Jereb's Republic of Florida Militia after the attack at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and found no ties between Jereb and Cruz, although Jereb has been arrested and baker acted in the past.
Law enforcement sources confirm the FBI agents are searching the home in connection with the misinformation Jereb gave related to the Parkland shooter.
Officials with the Tallahassee Police Department, the Leon County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshal's Office referred questions to the FBI. The FBI did not immediately return a phone call or email asking about the law enforcement presence at Jereb's home.
No word on details/results of the search.
