ICYMI: Marlins Break Club Record With Explosive, 22-10 Win Over Rangers

ICYMI, the Marlins were on a role Wednesday night, setting a franchise record AND dominating with an offensive explosion that ended in a 22-10 win over the Texas Rangers.

The Fish tweeted that 22 sets a new franchise record.

The Marlins scored 10 runs against Rangers starter Yu Darvish, setting him up for a career-worst and chasing him from the game after just 3.2 innings.

Fans should have known they were in for a special night when Dee Gordon led off the game with a solo homer, his first of the season.

Christian Yelich, Giancarlo Stanton and J.T. Realmuto all also hit home runs in the game. The Marlins annihilated with nine-run fourth inning, adding to the lead with five runs in the eighth and four more in the ninth.

Currently, the Marlins are 46-53 on the year. And a 22-10 day, and franchise-record breaking day, is a nice boost to team morale and the stat sheets.
