Tragedy striking in Miami as a middle school boy collapses during an after school track practice, and is later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Ignatius Carroll told says that the boy was warming up Wednesday afternoon when several people saw him collapse.
Rescue workers responded to Miami Northwestern Senior High School and found the boy was not breathing and began CPR.
The boy is not yet being identified, but authorities say he was a student at Florida International Academy Charter School, and was attending an after school track and field program.
