Miami Beach, Hialeah, Homestead and North Lauderdale also elects mayors; a special election will take place in Tamarac.

In Broward County
A Havana-born commissioner and former television reporter will be Miami's next mayor.
With all of the precincts reporting, unofficial results show Tomas Regalado with 72 percent and Joe Sanchez had 28 percent of the vote.
Regalado vows to make good on his campaign promises.
He promises he will cut his salary and pension among other things.
He says Governor Charlie Crist has already called to congratulate him.
The mayoral elect is planning on meeting with Crist next week to discuss bringing more stimulus money to Miami.
The 62-year-old Regalado was first elected as a city commissioner in 1996.
He replaces outgoing Mayor Manny Diaz, who is barred from seeking a third term.
In other races, Miami Commissioner Michelle Spence-Jones holds on to her District 5 seat.
With more than 90 percent of the vote, Julio Robaina is reelected as Hialeah Mayor.
In Miami Beach, Mayor Matti Herrera Bower was elected to another term.
And in Homestead, Steven Bateman will serve as mayor after gaining support from 58 percent of voters.
In the Broward County city of North Lauderdale, John Jack Brady remains in his seat as mayor after beating Bruce Tumin.
Brady taking 85 percent of the votes.
Tamarac residents will have to head back to the polls next month to elect a mayor.
Incumbent Beth Flansbaum-Talabisco was ready to ease into another term after her lone competitor dropped out of the race. However, with the clock nearly striking zero, Gunther Livingston said he wants back in.
A special election will be held December 18th.
